This site is here to campaign for the halt of the desecration of the land just south of Hereford's city limits. Bullinghope's green and lush fields are earmarked for a brown field estate despite Government recommendations to site it north of the city. This area has no infrastructure and cannot support the proposed development. Help us in our campaign to prevent this environmental tragedy.

WHO ARE WE AND WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?

We are the “SAVE BULLINGHOPE GROUP”

Following a public meeting called by two County Councillors, those attending elected an action committee to persuade the Herefordshire County Council to review their current thinking on the Unitary Development Plan.

We are about “NO MORE TRAFFIC CHAOS IN SOUTH WYE”.

We are asking the H.C.C. not to proceed with their intention of developing 2,000 more houses at Bullinghope. These are on top of the 600 now under construction on the old “Stirling Lines” camp.

Our aims go further than Bullinghope.  It is well established that the majority of housing development in Hereford is being placed south of the river.  Therefore, our longer-term aim is to persuade the County Council that the people of South Wye have had enough development until a complete By-pass, complete with second river crossing linking all the arterial roads feeding into Hereford is in operation.
